There are often wonderful metaphors for the various components of a diesel generator set. For example, the oil is called the blood of the engine, the air filter is called the lung, and the oil filter is called the liver. The main function of the filter is to remove impurities such as dust, metal particles, carbon deposits, soot particles and colloids in the oil, so as to protect the normal operation of the diesel generator set. The performance of the oil filter directly affects the overhaul of the diesel generator period and useful life.
